OBITUARY: Jackie Pinkerton

33/18 News has learnt the sad news that Jackie Pinkerton, one of the true greats of Scottish Cycle Speedway, passed away on Thursday 14th November. Jackie was runner-up in the 1970 British Final after defeating the late Derek Garnett in a run-off and also led Sighthill Hammers to victory in the 1966 British Team Cup. Jackie was also a member of the Scotland team which finished 2rd in the inaugural World Cup in 1983
