BRITISH INDIVIDUAL CHAMPIONSHIPS: Schedule announced

David Makepeace has sent in the following statement regarding the 2025 British Individual Championships:

“Delighted to announce that the 2025 British Individual Championship schedule on behalf of the host clubs the ‘South Coast 3’ of the South & South Wales region…as tradition demands August Bank Holiday (23rd -25th) will see the action at Shirley Pond Park (Southampton Cycle Speedway) Harbourside Park (Poole Cycle Speedway) and Cofton Road (Exeter Aces Cycle Speedway) …hopefully the schedule detail will assists riders, officials, families & support in planning, logistics & travel etc… doubtless there will fast , classy and competitive racing as riders pursue their quest to land the coveted British title as well as the Champs Bands adding their name to prestigious trophies… it’ll be a cracking weekend as always…doing it the South Coast way“

12 Noon Open Qualifying Round 1

1.30pm Open Qualifying Round 2

3pm Open Qualifying Round 3

4.30 Over 50;s and Over 60’s Finals

Poole

12 Noon Under 12’s Pre-Qualifier

1pm Under 12 Girls & Open Finals

3pm Under 14 Girls Final

4.30 Under 14 Open Final

6.30 Under 16 Open Pre-Qualifier

Note: Time has been allowed for any Under 16 Open riders who are in the Open Qualifiers at Southampton to arrive from there

Sunday 24th August

Exeter

11am Junior Pre-Qualifier

12 Noon Over 40’s Pre-Qualifier

1pm Junior Final

3pm Open Qualifying Round 4

4.30pm Open Qualifying Round 5

Poole

1pm Womens Pre-Qualifier

2.30pm Over 30 Womens and Under 16 Girls Finals (to be run concurrently)

4.30 Open Qualifying Round 6

Note: Any Junior riders who are entered in the Open event will not be included in Qualifying Round 6 (which will be drawn first) but they will be added to the draws for Qualifying Rounds 4 & 5. Also any Over 40 rider who might be in Open Qualifying Round 6 will have sufficient time to get to Poole
