The weekend action gets underway with the Scottish Open on Saturday at Fife whilst Astley & Tyldesley stage the inaugural A&T Omnium. The competition will consist of four events: 2 laps flying time trials; Elimination race(s); 10 laps time trials (standing start); and Standard 4 laps individual races. The event is open to all riders
Sunday the opening Women’s League event takes place at Hethersett. Also on Sunday the latest round of the Yorkshire League takes place at Sheffield’s Cookson Park whilst in the South East Hellingly are the visitors to Kesgrave for matches in Division 2 and the Youth League.
There is 1 match in the National League and that sees Great Blakenham make the trip to Poole
Finally in the Midlands it is the 2nd round of the Felxi League at East park. This competition runs to a turn up and ride formula and is designed so that on the day grading will result in people riding against same graded riders
