The 2025 British Club Championships take centre stage this weekend with the first day of action taking place tomorrow (Saturday) at Kesgrave’s War Memorial Playing Field track. All competitions on Day 1 will be Pairs events

The action begins with the 2 Under 14 Semi-Finals which will both be run together starting ay 10am. The defending champions Poole are drawn in the first of the semi-finals along with Hull and Kesgrave B, all 3 of these teams having contested last year’s final at Hull. They are joined by Southampton, Horspath and Norwich. The 2nd Semi-Final sees Kesgrave A and Sheffield up against Great Blakenham, Hethersett and Ipswich. the top 3 teams from each semi-final will contest the final at 1.30pm.

Before the Under 14’s Final the Under 12’s Club Championship will be decided starting at 12 noon. Poole, Hull, Hethersett and Kesgrave contested last years competition with the latter 2 clubs fielding 2 teams each and it was Kesgrave’s A team which won last year. great Blakenham, Southampton and Horspath complete the line-up

At 3pm the Under 16’s Open & Under 16 Girls Club Championships will be decided. The Under 16 Open sees Kesgrave return to defend the title they won last year at Hull who were also in last year’s event along with Ipswich, Poole, Southampton and Coventry. Sheffield and Great Blakenham complete the line-up. The Under 16 Girls Club Championship will be contested by Great Blakenham and Ipswich

The Women’s Club Championship completes the action on day 1 (5pm start) and the 4 teams who contested last year’s event at Hull are entered on this occasion, namely Poole, Kesgrave, Coventry and the defending champions Sheffield. Southampton, Leicester and Ipswich complete the line-up
