Ireland manager Steve Copping has finalised the teams for the World Cup Qualifying rounds on Saturday 13th September at Norwich. They are listed below (not in riding order):
Junior
Lola Martin (Hethersett), Mason Martin (Hethersett), Jude Wilcockson (Coventry), Ethan Lawrence (Birmingham) and Joe Gillespie (Southampton)
Over 40’s
Craig Norton (Birmingham), Paddy Wenn (Norwich), Richard Williamson (Great Blakenham), David martin (Hethersett) and gary Colby (Norwich)
Senior
Ricki Johnson (Birmingham), Matt Hill (Ipswich), James Porter (Ipswich), Leon mower (Kesgrave). 5th rider to be confirmed
The World Pairs will be staged at Kesgrave on Friday September 19th and the line-ups for Ireland are below:
Junior
Mason Martin and Jude Wilcockson with either Joe Gillespie or Ethan lawrence as reserve
Over 40’s
Richard Williamson and Craig Norton with Ray Pyke as reserve

Steve’s involvement with the management side of Ireland started in 2012 when he spent 2 years as assistant manager to Gary Colby before they became joint managers in 2014 until Gary stepped down in 2023. Steve took sole charge in 2024 and will be standing down after the World Pairs. Steve would like to take this opportunity to thank all the riders who have ridden for Ireland during his tenure
