Sunday saw the opening of the 2026 season in South Australia with the Adelaide based club able to confirm their rider strength
in most of the categories. Bobby McMillan and Cody Petty are without doubt the front runners in the Open class whilst Blake
Frencken is the third major asset. The over 30s grade features six strong competitors in Andrew Blatchford,Brad Delmenico,
Matt Gentle,Jackie Kinross,Ian Knights and Sam Rochester.
Another forceful category is the U15 with Austin Gentle, Caitlin Knights,Max Lowick plus Stevie and Chad Ricketts the main
entrants. Kayleigh Clarke,Krystal Coats,Caitlin Knights and Stevie Ricketts at present stand out in the Womens section with
further additions envisaged in the near future. The close season signing of Poole, and 4th in the World Individual ratings, Feroze
Langoo was a teriffic capture but his premature return to the United Kingdom is a disappointment for the Reserve Parade supporters.
However former World Champion David Hemsley is due to arrive shortly and will find it hard to to resist the opportunity of “stretching his legs ” with the 2027 Worlds in mind.
