Astley & Tyldesley hosted Round 4 of the Manchester League series at Gin Pit on Wednesday evening. Despite heavy rain overnight and throughout the morning, the track was in excellent condition on a bright evening,
The ladder format provided plenty of close racing between the two groups. Bury’s Reece Pollitt took the individual win on the night, to edge one point clear of runner-up Frank White of A&T in the series standings. Bury stopped A&T’s run of wins in the team series by drawing on the night.
