MATCH REPORT: Bad tempers leave sour taste at Glover Park

A bad tempered affair which does nothing to enhance the sport. There were too many incidents to mention but there were numerous complaints ranging from the tapes, flags, track and the inevitable refereeing decisions.

Despite the visitors top three looking strong on paper, on the day Leicester had too much power in the heat leader department. Mark Whitehead took a full maximum, whilst the White boys both rode well for the visitors and look fine prospects. In contrast to what preceded the division two and junior matches were both entertaining and raced in good spirit.
