NEWS: M6 GP Trophy starts next week

A new “M6 GP Trophy” begins in the Midland League in the coming week. Here’s all the details.

The M6 GP Trophy is a 4 x round event held on/at the following and is open to all Midland riders with a TLI membership.

Wednesday 03 June | East Park

Wednesday 08 July | Coventry

Wednesday 12 August | Birmingham

Wednesday 09 September | Wednesfield

Each round begins at 19:30hrs and there will be 2 x categories:-

Junior U14

Senior O14

Race formulas will be decided on the day based upon rider turn-out.

The top four scorers on the night will be awarded the following GP Points that are carried forward to the next round. All points will be calculated after the final round with run-off’s to settle the placing’s if required.

1st = 25 Points

2nd = 23 Points

3rd = 22 Points

4th = 21 Points

Riders outside the top four scoring positions will carry forward the points they attained during each meeting.

This event is run under TLI so no race levy is due, however, a £1 race entry fee payable on the day to the staging club will be payable. These monies will be forwarded to the Midland League Treasurer to fund the awards for this series.
