MATCH REPORT: Monarchs take advantage over weakened Aces
A weakened Wednesfield Aces battled away at Glover Park, but always looked likely to run out of steam in the latter stages.
Brandon Whetton led the way, his only defeat coming in heat one at the hands of Dave Hemsley, both Matt Smith and Mark Griffiths gave good support.
The home riders all chipped in and rode well as a unit, filling the minor places in some tactical races, their only 7-3 reversal coming in heat 14 at the hands of Smith/Griffiths.
