CLUB NEWS: Aces raising money to remember volunteer Steph

On Tuesday 16 May at 6:30pm, Wednesfield Aces Cycle Speedway club will be hosting a special charity match for youth riders, in memory of Steph Clarke.

Steph was a Wednesfield local who did so much for her community. Since her passing in late 2016, people have been remembering her in their own acts of kindness and volunteering, under the banner #stuff4steph.

In tribute to her work, this event has been organised with all donations going to Birmingham Children’s Hospital. Riders as young as four will be taking to the track in a competition race event that hopes to raise funds and also awareness of the great work done by Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

Organiser Wayne Tipton said: “We’d like to invite everybody to come along, watch the races, and cheer on the children! The event will start at 6.30 pm on Tuesday May 16th at Wednesfield Aces Cycle Speedway club at Ashmore Park.”
