There was an improved turn out of 13 riders for the second round of the A&T Go-Ride League series, on a warm and bright Tuesday evening. A&T’s coaches again did a great job in picking three even teams, with all three separated by a single point! The ladder format was used, with each rider having four races. At the end of the 12 heats, it was Gin Pit Storm who took the team win, by a single point from the other two teams. The Storm move on to 5 points, ahead of Tyldesley Typhoons on 4.5 and Astley Hurricanes on 2.5, in the series standings. Owen Simcock won every race for the Gin Pit Storm, but it was Astley Hurricanes’ Oscar Belt who retained his individual series lead, moving onto 28 points.
