WEEKEND PREVIEW: BYJL resumes plus Regional racing

The British Youth & Junior League takes up Saturday’s Cycle Speedway action with the 3rd North & Scotland regional round taking place at Bury’s Goshen Sports Centre. East Newport is the venue for the 3rd South & South Wales round while the 3rd South East regional round takes place at Ipswich’s Whitton Sports Centre. The latter doubles up as the 3rd round of the South-East Grand Prix. The Midlands youngsters head to Birmingham’s Perry Hall Playing Fields for what will be their 2nd round.

Moving on to Sunday and there is action in the South East, North & Scotland and Midland regions. Our preview starts in the South-East with the Regional Centre at Great Blakenham hosting 4 matches against Kesgrave, 2 Youth League matches as well as matches in Divisions 1 and 2.The action gets underway at 1pm Ipswich make the trip to Hellingly for a Division 2 and a Youth League match with a 2pm start time

The North & Scotland League sees Hull hosting Bury in all 3 Divisions, Heckmondwike welcoming Astley & Tyldesley in Divisions 2 and 3 and Fife travelling to Sheffield in Division 1 with the Revolution looking to follow up on their win against Hull 2 weeks ago. The action gets underway at 1pm at all 3 venues

Finally in the Midlands Club League Coventry are scheduled to host Leicester starting at 2pm
