Newport Cycle Speedway club’s preparations are well underway in readiness for this years European club championships on May Bank Holiday weekend. Local business Ken Lewis car repair will be the finals day sponsor, and the club thank them for their generous sponsorship.

The club have organised a mobile bar, coffee and ice cream vans to assist their refreshments outlet and hope to arrange a welcome evening.

All 16 final races have attracted sponsorship thanks to local companies and individuals.

15 strong clubs will contest the championships at Newport and East Newport. From May 4th to May 6th.
