WEEKEND PREVIEW: BYJL resumes and more regional racing
A busy weekend of Cycle Speedway action starts later today (Saturday April 27th) with the 2nd Regional British Youth & Junior League rounds. Sheffield stage the North & Scotland round at The Graves Tennis centre whilst the Midlands youngsters will be in action at Coventry. The South-East round will be at Kesgrave and this will also count as Round 2 of the South-East Grand Prix series. Southampton were scheduled to stage the South & South Wales round but that has been postponed due to a sewage leak and will be restaged later on in the season
Sunday sees action in all 4 regions. In the North & Scotland League Sheffield take on Astley & Tyldesley in all 3 Divisions at the Graves whilst Fife welcome Bury to the FastBowl in Division 1. There is a Yorkshire derby at Firth Park as Heckmondwike take on Hull in Divisions 2 & 3
In the South-East League Kesgrave will be in action at both Norwich & Hethersett. The Pumas provide the Division 2 opposition for Norwich at 11am whilst the Panthers will visit Hethersett for a Division 2 match as well as a Youth League match. The action at Hethersett is scheduled to start at 2pm. Meanwhile Great Blakenham make the trip to Whitton Sports Centre to take on Ipswich in Divisions 1 & 2 as well as the Youth League
There are 2 matches in the South & South Wales League with Southampton making the trip across the Severn Bridge to take on Newport whilst Poole take on Horspath at Harbourside Park.
Finally the Midlands sees a Club Day take place at Leicester
