This weekend the Hull Cycle Speedway Club stage the British Cycle Speedway Knock Out Cup with qualifying rounds on Saturday and Semi-finals and final on Sunday. Six teams compete on Saturday to reach the last four with Birmingham looking to extend their winning run to three victories. Their opposition will come from Great Blakenham, Horspath and Ipswich who they compete against in The National League and also from local North & Scotland League champions Sheffield and Edinburgh who currently race in The North & Scotland League Division two.

Racing starts at 12 noon with Ipswich v Horspath v Edinburgh followed by Sheffield v Birmingham v Great Blakenham at 1.30pm. There will be two more matches to follow at 3.30pm and 5pm with the top four decided on a league basis.

On Sunday the first semi-final will start at 11am followed by the second semi-final at 1pm with the final at 3.30pm. There will be hot and cold refreshments on sale and a barbeque and raffle. There will also be extra toilets, seating and a public address available all with free entry.
