RIP Dave Hunting

The sad news of the passing of Dave Hunting was announced on social media earlier today. Dave was a very popular member of the Cycle Speedway community, from racing to being considered one of the best, if not the best, referees the sport has ever had. Dave was also the last elected chairman of the Cycle Speedway commission and a man of great integrity and honour, as well as being an all round nice guy.

Tributes to “legend” Dave, have flooded into the “i was a  or still am a cycle speedway rider !!!!” Facebook page, where the tragic news was broken earlier today.

Our thoughts are with Dave’s family at this sad time.
