NEWS: Hindley’s & Travis Perkins’ generosity completes Wednesfield pits area

Wednesfield Aces have completed on time the final part of its new covered pits building, thanks to the fantastic support of Mark Hindley of Hindley contractors from Wolverhampton and Travis Perkins in Wednesfield. Both companies donated £1000 each of materials and labour costs, free of charge, to help the Aces complete its pits project, by building a retaining wall the enclose the riders.

Mark Hindley, owner of Hindley Contractors said, “Having helped rebuild the Wednesfield Aces club house after its arson attack in 2013, we know how important the club is to the local community of Wednesfield and Ashmore Park. We had no hesitation in helping to build the new retaining wall at the track. We were also pleased that the local branch of Travis Perkins donated the materials to complete the project.

“We wish all riders appearing in the world finals the very best of luck and hope they enjoy the new facilities at the aces track.”

However, judging by the builders on the cycle speedway bikes they should certainly stick to the day job!
