NEWS: Coventry Indoor off to flying start

Coventry officials report a good response to the new Indoor racing season with the first practice evening at the Sports Connexion venue, just outside the city boundary, getting off to a flying start.

The first evening, held last night (Sunday 8th November), attracted 24 excited participants, including two of Coventry latest intake of youngsters. Riders travelled from as far afield as Stockport to test machinery and technique ahead of the British Indoor Finals in January.

Coventry chairman Dave Foster said: “We have had an encouraging start to the new Indoor season. Coventry CSC are very pleased to prove these practice opportunities for the sport as a whole to enjoy and to prepare for the British Indoor Finals”.

The next Indoor practice session takes place at the Sports Connexion this Sunday (15th November) at the normal times of 7pm – 9pm. All riders are welcomed from all clubs.
The sessions continue every Sunday up to Christmas.

The British Indoor Finals will be staged at the Sports Connexion in the first weekend of the New Year, Saturday 2nd January and Sunday 3rd January 2016.
