NEWS: Coventry Indoor Practice Ends – Club say thank you

Coventry Cycle Speedway club brought to a close its highly successful Indoor practice and training venture last Sunday for 2015. It was the third successive year the Coventry club had provided much needed Indoor facilities for devotees of the indoor scene.

Another healthy turn-out brought the curtain down at the final session. And, thankful for the support shown, the Coventry club immediately issued a `thank you` for all those that supported the opportunity to practice before the British Indoor championships.

Lee Marsh said: “We are pleased to put these sessions on and they have become a popular fixture on the Indoor calendar, as well as offering regular meeting point for our club members each Sunday.

“We would like to thank everyone for their support and particularly the members of Norwich, Birmingham, Ipswich, East Park, Stockport, Wednesfield, Sheffield and all the other clubs that attended.

“We extend a special thanks to our good friends at Leicester, who attended in large numbers each Sunday. We would also like to make special mention to super enthusiastic Lucy Whitehead, who travelled all the way from Sheffield every week. When you see passion like that, it makes it all worthwhile”.

There is alternative Indoor training at Wednesfield High School, 2pm-4pm this Sunday.
