2015 INDOOR: Birmingham power to Open Team victory

Birmingham Monarchs have won the British Indoor Open Team final at Coventry, for the first time in their history, finishing a healthy 6 points clear of nearest rivals Wednesfield.

Ipswich claimed third spot ahead of Leicester, the latter who qualified from their semi final with a mixed team including veterans, ladies and u16 category riders.

It was to be Birmingham’s day though, as their team of Chris Timms, Scott Millward, Ricki Johnson, Matt Smith and Nathan Groves proved too robust for their fellow competitors.
