LETTERS: Brian set excellent example

I would like to share my sadness at the passing of Brian Maunder.

Brian recognised from an early stage the potential of the British Youth & Junior League and brought a team up to Wednesfield for the first ever Junior League (as it was then). He gave the opportunity to so many youngsters to experience this great competition and was a big support to me as a Regional Co-ordinator for many years.

Always modest in victory and gracious in defeat he set an excellent example to the youngsters and it is good to see the Exeter Club strong again to be his everlasting legacy.

Many memories shared and my condolences to family, friends and all at Exeter.
