CLUB NEWS: Swindon score press success
Thanks to Phil Clarke’s in-depth article that we published last week, Swindon have successfully bagged themselves a weekly section in their local paper, the Swindon Advertiser.

The local paper covered last weekend’s 40th anniversary special after Rob Hunt got in touch with one of the editors using Phil’s handy advice.

Rob said: “We sent our match report for the 40th anniversary to our local paper, where we now have a contact, who has promised to publish a piece on every meeting and send a photography out occasionally too.”
Rob passed on his thanks to Phil and the Ipswich club. It’s great to see so many clubs getting proactive in promoting our sport, with just yesterday Welsh Cycling posting on Facebook about Newport’s match against Poole this Sunday.
