RIDER NEWS: Adams gains support from Henderson Herald

Hethersett’s Katie Adams (pictured right) has received the backing from local paper “The Henderson Herald” ahead of her appearance for Ireland at the Junior Home International at Hull on Saturday.

Katie explained: “The Henderson Herald is delivered to around 5,000 homes in the NR5 area of Norwich so quite a good bit of publicity!

“The Henderson Trust has used its resources from one of the projects they run, the Not About the Bike project. They have sprayed my bike for me so it’s looking all shiny and new and given it a full MOT!

“The Henderson Trust is a local charity working to improve the lives of local people and the environment in the Marlpit, Larkman, North and West Earlham areas of West Norwich. The Henderson Trust is particularly important to the local community because it covers one of the most deprived areas of the UK.

The Henderson Herald covered Katie in their paper.

“The Trust runs, manages and supports a range of activities and projects in the four main areas of need: Health; Education and Training; Local Environment and Community; Work and Business.

“The Henderson Trust is funded from a variety of sources, whilst the majority of its income comes from the profits of the Henderson Business Centre. This makes it a unique and sustainable charity right in the heart of the community.”
