RIDER NEWS: Three generations of Welsh Cycle Speedway stars

Three generations of one family, Ron, Wayne and Ryan Evans, have now all represented Wales at Cycle Speedway.

Firstly grandfather Ron, was a top rider in the 50s for the Langstone Eagles, which culminated in his call up for his country.

Only last weekend, his son, Wayne, rode for Wales in the home nations veterans championships in Hull, with grandson, Ryan, gaining his Welsh cap only a fews years back.

It now completes a very proud family with three generations of international Cycle Speedway appearances…
