CLUB NEWS: Panthers win exciting Kesgrave SPARK League
The final round of the Kesgrave SPARK League for juniors took place at the weekend, with all five teams in with a chance of overall victory. A hard fought win eventually went to the Panthers (blue) by one point from the Pumas (black) in second.
Leading coming into the final round, the unfortunate Jaguars (pink) were missing two key riders and dropped to third overall.
All the riders were presented with a gift and a photograph of themselves competing in the series, with some already having them framed in their bedroom.
As always, the youngsters enjoyed standing on the podium with the Tigers (orange), Lions (yellow) joining the Jaguars, Pumas and victorious Panthers.

Thanks must go to some of the older Kesgrave juniors who helped by ‘managing’ the teams or carrying out other race-day duties.
The series has been a huge success with riders and parents alike with many positive comments regarding the opportunity for the youngsters to race and some already looking forward to next year’s SPARK League. An additional twelve riders have joined the Kesgrave club as a direct result of the SPARK League and seen the club’s Facebook ‘Likes’ rise by twenty.

Well done to Kesgrave. Further underlining the point that local racing on our home tracks for our youngsters is a key ingredient to success.
