CLUB NEWS: East Park container arrives at new home

East Park finally had their new container placed on the pad next to the starting gate last week.

It has taken some months to arrange and was only possible when club secretary, Robert Barnett, contacted local counsellor Keith Inston, who spoke to the parks department. Officials then arranged for trees to be cut back and supplied a temporary roadway across the grassed area.

The container will make match days far easier for East Park’s volunteers. It means no more gazebos having to be set up and the container will also be used as a much needed office.

The club gained Go-Ride status last year are now on their way to becoming Clubmark as well.
