PHOTOS: Brooke scoops Dash Trophies GP title

Josh Brooke was in fine form on his way to the 2017 Dash Trophies GP title, delivering a faultless performance on 19 points.

Brooke, racing for Great Blakenham this season, was looking sharp all round, backing up his impressive performance in the European final at Poole in 2016, where he finished fourth after a run off for silver.

Lukas Nowacki and Paul Heard battled it out in a run off for second and third, Nowacki making no mistake from inside grids. Both riders exhibiting their experience and early-season speed, with Heard’s gating especially back to his best.

Coventry’s Myke Grimes came close to second place but a tussle with Ben Mould while challenging for the lead in heat 20 put paid to his chances of a podium or run off as he was relegated to the back in the process, consequently finishing joint 5th with Brandon Whetton.

Lee Aris took a hard earned fourth place, while there were other impressive performances from younger riders, with Reece Pollitt, Jake White and Carl Parfitt catching the eye.

Paul Devine and Andy Whitehouse were both in attendance. Check out Andy’s photos via the link below, while Paul has emailed in his pictures from the semi finals and final and are displayed below the link.
