MATCH REPORT: Three convincing wins for Team Green over Hull

North & Scotland League champions Astley & Tyldesley raced to a convincing 111-63 win over Hull in Sunday’s Division 1 match at Gin Pit.

The visitors turned up with just five riders, but three times British Champion Andy Angell won four of his six races, with good support from Nathan Everett, who was also a race winner.

These two ensured that there were some good races on a damp, firm and grippy track. A&T took the opportunity to give races to all ten of their riders, who all scored well, with reserves Paul Graham and Emily Burgess both unbeaten.

After the match, A&T were presented with the North & Scotland League Division 1 Cup, by the Regional Competitions Manager, Andy Schofield.
