CLUB NEWS: Hawks lose out in Cup Final

Hethersett Hawks / Myhill Decorators almost had the perfect ending to their 2018 season in the South East and Eastern Division 2 Cup Final at Eaton Park. League champions Kesgrave had the early lead but a 6-4 win by Liam Webster and Glyn Morgan put the Hawks in front at heat 11. A further 6-4 in heat 14 by Harley Hamill and Owen Wells extended the lead. Disaster hit in the penultimate heat with Ray Pyke and Tyler Brinkhoff allowed to take a 7-3 and put Kesgrave in front. Lewis Brinkhoff made no mistake in the last race to secure Kesgrave a 1 point victory.
