Words by Pete Barnes.

After the recent Australian Cycle Speedway Council meeting the successful applicants for the 2020 World Championship team manager roles were announced.

Highly respected Le Fevre official Rob Fleming and double World Individual Champion Daniel Pudney will jointly take control of the Senior squad in the World Cup and Test match series versus Great Britain. Seasoned International Bobby MacMillen has the Junior mantle and his
vast experience will be critical if the staging nation are to feature in the major awards.
As organiser of the Australian Veterans Grand Prix series Simon Harley was perhaps the automatic choice to undertake a similar role in this category of events.
Last, but by no means least, former rider and talented BMX competitor Tammy Clarke will use her undoubted expertise in fitness, training and dietary requirements in the challenge to prepare the home nations assault in the Womens events.
