Day 2 of the European Championships at Wednesfield saw the Juniors open the action with their 2nd qualifiers and the 16 riders who qualified for the final were Mateusz Kozlik, Luca Woodhouse, Marcel Asendrych, Adrian Olkowski, Noah Lyon, Karol Golis, Krzysztof Kaczmarek, Corey Burt, Albert Seweryn, Oliver Banyard, Filip Balcer, Frank White, Teddy Curtis, Sebastian Wielinski, Antoni Bosak and Jamie Randall. The 2 reserves will be Lily Parr and George Whale
The Women’s semi-finals followed and the first one saw Emily Burgess, Zuzia Klett, Lizzie Rigley, Laura Watson, Lucy Whitehead, Lexie Curtis, Shannon Tucker and Yoanna Gilpin book their places in the final. Joining them will be Lily Parr, Demi-Blu Harris, Maddie Saunders, Lacey Ackroyd, Amberley Gant, Rachel Lammin, Karina Gorniaczyk and Ella Case. The 2 reserves will be Esmae Lewis and Nyla Aris
The Over 40’s Nations Cup saw England take the win ahead of Poland following a run-off after both countries scored 65 points. Ireland finished 3rd with 46 ahead of Wales on 41 and Scotland on 39
The Open Nations Cup saw exactly the same finishing order with England winning on 59 points ahead of Poland on 56, Ireland 51, Wales 50 and Scotland 29
England made it 3 Nations Cups out of 3 by winning the Junior event with 72 points ahead of Poland on 71, Wales on 48, Ireland on 33 and Scotland 26
