The final day of the 2026 European Championships took place at Birmingham’s Perry Hall Playing Fields and following the 2 Open Individual Semi-Finals the Junior, Over 40’s, Women’s and Open Finals took place with Poland and England providing 2 of the Champions each
The Junior Final was the first of the finals and this saw Poland’s Adrian Olkowski emerge victorious with 18 points, dropping his only points to his compatriot Mateusz Kozlik in the opening race and Noah Lyon in the last race where all he had to do was finish the race following exclusions for the previously unbeaten Sebastian Wielinski (for sliding out on his own and bringing another rider down) and then Filip Balcer in the re-run for excessive slowing despite several warnings. A run-off was needed to decide the other 2 podium placings and this saw Luca Woodhouse defeat Wielinski

The Over 40’s title was decided by a run-off between Mark Boaler and Grzegorz Gluchowski after both riders had scored 19 points. Boaler dropped his only point to Mark Winwood in heat 12 whilst Gluchowski dropped his only point to Boaler in heat 17. The 2 riders had met in a run-off for the Over 40’s Nations Cup the previous day which was won by Boaler and he repeated the result to claim the Individual title. Southampton’s Gavin Wheeler took 3rd place with 17 points

The Women’s Final was next and this saw Zuzia Klett take the title with 19 points, suffering her only defeat at the hands of Amberley Gant in heat 10. Emily Burgess’s hopes of adding the European title to the World & British titles she won in 2025 were dashed in heat 17 where, having been unbeaten up to that point she could only finish 3rd behind Lily Parr and Klett. Par and Burgess were tied on 18 points so they needed a run-off for 2nd which was won by Parr after Burgess forced her off the track, earning an exclusion

The Open Final rounded off the action and this saw Luca Woodhouse go one better than his result in the Junior event by winning the title with 18 points, dropping his only points in his 4th ride where he finished 3rd. Kosma Syrkowski took the runner-up spot after defeating his Polish compatriot Patryk Kryger in a run-off after both scored 16 points
