NEWS: Archie Wilkinson races in to sponsor Indoor finals
Coventry Cycle Speedway club, promotors of the British Indoor Finals, have today confirmed that leading Cycle Speedway equipment company, Archie Wilkinson, is the latest company to back the upcoming British Finals.
Following an approach by Joe McLaughlin to co-director Karl Wilkinson, the West Bromwich based company immediately pledged to support the staging costs of both the British under 19s individual final and the British Veterans final.
It brings to five, out of eight, of the British Indoor classification finals that have so far attracted sponsorship. The Coventry club hope to be in a position to announce more sponsorship for the finals, to be staged at the Sports Connexion on 2nd and 3rd January 2016, next week.
Karl Wilkinson said: “We applaud the efforts of the Coventry Cycle Speedway club in stepping forward to stage the 2015 British Indoor finals, after there were no confirmed bids to stage the championships. Their efforts should be supported and both Archie, and I, are very pleased to lend our support”.
Pauline Stuart, of Coventry CSC, said: “We are delighted that Archie Wilkinson Cycle Speedway Equipment are backing our efforts in ensuring the sport has a British Indoor finals to contest this winter”.

The entry lists for the finals close in seven days.
Riders, management, officials and fans can book accommodation at the official championship headquarters, the Village Hotel, Coventry, for Friday 1st January 2016 (ahead of the first days racing on the Saturday), Saturday 2nd January 2016 and Sunday 3rd January 2016.
