ICSF WORLDS 2017: Veterans test matches confirmed

The thriving Veterans scene received a boost this month, after British Cycling’s request to the ICSF to include a Veterans Australia v Great Britain test match series was approved.

Following members of the Veterans community indicated a willingness to race on both sides of the world, a formal approach to the BC CS commission was made and then ratified, before going to the ICSF to approve.

The Team Manager for the Team GB veterans will be Geoff Gamage. Selections for each match will be made whilst in Australia.

This positive move will give travelling over 40s riders more track time over the three-week period and it is hoped it will encourage for veterans to make the trip.
