NEWS: Timms set to miss Eurovets

Current over 50`s Eurovets Champion Paul Timms is likely to miss the start of the season including the opening rounds of the TLI Series for 2015.

Birmingham Monarchs Timms is set to have keyhole surgery on his damaged knee (suffered in November) that has not responded to treatment so far. It’s unlikely he will get the surgery until late February or early March and faces a 6 week recovery period. Everyone at the club hopes he is back in action as soon as is possible.

In other news the club holds it AGM on Tuesday 20th January where it is hoped the signings of Ricki Johnson and Matt Smith, along with Ieaun Payne will be confirmed.

It is also believed that Marcus Wadhams is also expected to continue racing for the club having originally expected to miss a huge chunk of the season through work.

The club are also continuing to hold open training sessions every 2nd Saturday of the month. The next is scheduled for the 14th of February.
