NEWS: 2023 World Championships get the green light

The International Cycle Speedway Federation (ICSF) and Australian Cycle Speedway Council are delighted to announce that the 2023 World Cycle Speedway Championships will go ahead in Australia.

The Championships have been delayed, due to the Covid pandemic, but the organisers are now able to proceed with planning for the Championships.

Below is an Official Announcement and Championships Schedule. Please note that the schedule is subject to change, dependent on entry numbers.
Entries will be open in due course, but this early announcement enables everyone to start planning ahead for the Championships.

“The Australian Cycle Speedway Council and Community are proud to announce the upcoming 2023 International Cycle Speedway Federation (ICSF) World Championships. This major event is only held in the Southern Hemisphere once every 4 years and we are excited to announce that after delay due to COVID we are now able to successfully run our event. “Countries such as England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Australia, Poland and the USA will be looking to claim the World Cup and Australia will be looking to again show the competition how hungry we are for success! The tour dates are Monday 13th November until Sunday December 3rd , 2023. The 3 week program includes racing at the four South Australian Cycle Speedway Tracks.”
