MATCH REPORT: Manchester League Round 2

Stockport hosted Round 2 of the 2023 Manchester League series on a glorious Wednesday evening.

However, there was a disappointingly low turn out of just 12 riders on the night.

Once again, Bury only fielded three riders in the Division 2 match, but all three rode to maximum scores – Bobby Dunphy (u-10), Jayden Hancock (u-13), Tom Dunphy (u-16). However, the five Astley & Tyldesley riders mustered enough points between them to take the team win on the night and the second in the series. Owen Simcock of A&T had his score adjusted to 16, by virtue of being the only u-19 rider present.
