NEWS: Hull nearly ready for 2016

Work is almost complete on the winter maintenance and renovation of the Hull track and facilities. The track was re-laid in early October and seems to be bedding in well prior to the start of pre season training which is scheduled to commence on the track on Tuesday 9th February 2016.

Work has also been undertaken to tidy up the starting gate area with the laying of pavers both on the centre and outside of the track, the installation of new drainage in the starting gate area and the cleaning out of existing drainage. The club house has seen improvements made to the toilet area and a general tidy up/cleaning and painting undertaken.

Off track the club is in the process of developing a new website which it is hoped will incorporate the previous sites that detailed the history of the sport in the Hull area. This can still be found at the same address: www.hullcyclespeedway.co.uk

Hull are again looking to a busy season of racing with the highlight been the staging of the Home International on Saturday 16th July 2016. The club are also looking forward to hosting East Park Wolves in the first round of the British Knock Out Cup in what will be the first meeting between the two clubs.
