Astley and Tyldesley’s Gin Pit is set to undergo a substantial refurbishment, after the Manchester club were allocated new funding assisted through British Cycling. Gin Pit was built by three volunteers 25 years ago and the club believes the constant upkeep required to the current circuit distracts club members from more pressing matters like coaching and rider development.
