RESULTS: British Women’s and Girls’ League

The results are in from last weekend’s first British Women’s and Girls’ League round.

The Eastern team took the spoils with a solid 70 points, the South and South Wales team came in second with 65. The midlands finished third with 48 and finally the North and Scotland team came fourth with 33 points.

Sandra Tamborska went through the card for South and South Wales, picking up a paid maximum, as did Lauren Jacobs, finding her form to also register a paid max.

The top two girls also went toe to toe in the individual event. Jacobs took the win and the 25 points from the inside gate with Tamborska off the 4 having to settle for second place and 20 points. Lucy Whitehead claimed third place and Lauren Hookway took 16 points from fourth place.

In the second individual event Leicester flier Elizabeth Rigley took the A-final win, Chloe Pearce was second, Coventry’s Sammi Marsh took third and Jenna Whitehead finished in fourth place.
