AUSTRALIA: Exciting racing in Aussie ladder leagues

Round 2 of the Division 4 League (Under 13) provided some very exciting racing at the LeFevre track, with the Salisbury Jets finishing on top at the end of the day with 67 points from the Findon Comets on 64 and the LeFevre Dolphins on 49.

The racing was very close with the scores swinging between the Comets and the Jets.  The Dolphins ability to put and keep the pressure on their rivals sends a clear message to the Jets and Comets not to underestimate them. The scores do not reflect how well the Dolphins rode.

DIVISION 1 LEAGUE

Round 2 of the Division 1 League was really a battle between Findon Comets and LeFevre Dolphins for second spot on the ladder.

Comets needed to finish 2nd to give them a reasonable chance of making the Grand Final but the pressure took its toll and they ended up with 2 DNFs, an exclusion for removing helmet before crossing the finish line,  and then they suffered a gate exclusion in the last race.

In comparison the Jets had 1 DNF and the Dolphins had a clean slate. The Comets now must win round 3 with the Dolphins finishing 3rd and they must beat them by 10 points. Round 3 will be at the Findon track.
