MATCH REPORT: South East and East in the driving seat

The South East and East Senior squad continued their dominance of the 2017 Supertrax Battle of Britain series, comfortably winning their first home match of the season against the North and Scotland at Whitton Sports Centre.

Every home rider took at least one heat win on the hottest day of the year so far, Blakenham’s Luke Harrison capping his debut with a heat win against Reece Pollitt and Louis Wright.

Ben Higham was pick of the visitors, protecting Michael Preston for the North’s only 7-3 heat win of the match.

This win puts the South East and East seniors at the head of the league table at the halfway stage, making the next match against the Midlands at home a potential title decider.

That match will be at Kesgrave’s Memorial Playing Field on Sunday 23rd July. Tapes up for Juniors at 1pm, then Seniors at 2pm. Admission free.
