WEEKEND PREVIEW: Eurovets round 4, South-East GP Round 5 and more regional racing

Another busy weekend of racing kicks off on Saturday with Round 5 of the South-East Grand Prix series which will be staged at East London. Also on Saturday the Eurovets cross the Severn Bridge for Round 4 of their series at Newport.
Sunday sees another busy day of regional racing in all 4 regions, The match of the day is in the North & Scotland League at Redbraes Park where Edinburgh take on Astley & Tyldesley in a match which will have a major bearing on where the Division 1 title ends up. Both teams have suffered only 1 defeat this season with the Falcons having lost at Astley in April whilst Astley’s first defeat in Division 1 for almost 2 seasons came at Hull. Edinburgh & Astley will also race in Division 2 & 3. Also in the North & Scotland League Bury have a busy day of racing as they host Sheffield at midday in Divisions 2 & 3 then Hull are the visitors in all 3 Divisions. Rider unavailability for Stockport means that their matches at Fife & Glasgow have been postponed and will be restaged at a later date. Fife will instead race Glasgow in Division 2
There are 2 matches in the South & South Wales League. Exeter welcome Horspath to the Wheels Centre whilst Poole make the trip over the Severn Bridge to visit Newport
The Midland League also has 2 matches with Coventry hosting Birmingham where the Division 1 match will also count towards the Crossover League whilst the other match sees East Park make the trip to Glover Park to face Leicester.
In the South-East & Eastern League there is just 1 Division 1 match where Ipswich take on Gt Blakenham, These 2 teams will also face each other in Division 2. There are 2 other matches in Division 2 with Hellingly hosting Norwich and hethersett hosting Norwich
