ROUND UP: British Finals Weekend | Day Two

Here are the results from day two of the British Finals Weekend:

Over 50’s

1st Ray Oliver (Coventry)

2nd David Frith (Leicester)

3rd Dave Murphy (Exeter)

Ray Oliver made no mistake in the Over 50s to take the gold on a maximum. David Frith was also in good form, dropping his only point of the day to the former World Champion.

A run off was required to determine 3rd place, with Dave Murphy and Stephen Hodgkinson both finishing on 13 points. Murphy took the inside grid and was able to hold off Hodgkinson to secure 3rd.

1st Macie Schmidt (Poole)

2nd Chloe Pearce (Ipswich)

3rd Chloe Albin (Poole)

Macie Schmidt raced to an untroubled maximum ahead of Chloe Pearce and team mate Chloe Albin. Schmidt looked in a league of her own racing around her home track, she’ll be one to watch in tomorrow’s Women’s final at Exeter.
