NEWS: Edinburgh stalwart Murphy bags Commonwealth honour

Edinburgh cycle speedway legend, Johnny Murphy, has today been successfully chosen to be a Queen’s baton bearer for the 2014 Commonwealth games, as recognition for his services to cycle speedway in Edinburgh.

Johnny was voted for by riders representative and B team captain, Calum Slight. Everyone at Edinburgh Falcons CSC would like to wish Johnny all the very best on his special day. I’m sure we will all be there to cheer him on!
