NEWS: Updates from British Cycling

National Individual Event Entries

The closing date for the Elite GP’s and British Individual Championships are fast approaching. Links to all upcoming entry pages can be found on the British Cycling calendar here:

The Elite GP deadline is Sunday 8th August and the National Championships deadline is Monday 9th August. Elite GP regulations can be found here:

A minimum of Race Silver membership is required to compete in the National Individual Championships. British Cycling recommends purchasing this before submitting an entry as doing these simultaneously can occasionally cause issues with the payments.



British Youth & Junior National Final

The regulations for the National Final round of the British Youth & Junior League have been relaxed to allow riders who have competed in only one regional round to compete in the Final.



Battle of Britain format

The format of the Battle of Britain was changed at the end of 2019 to a six rider plus two reserves format with 24 heats. Full regulations can be found here:

European Club Championships

Clubs must let Tarn know by 12 noon on Friday 13th August if they would like to enter a team in the European Club Championships being held at Torun, Poland, 10th-12th September 2021.
