With two clubs staging birthday meetings over the weekend it was Le Fevre who opened the racing on Saturday to celebrate 30 years since the formation of the club by the late Bill Rufus. After a series of qualifying heats a two rider run off was required to determine the overall winner with Paul White just gaining the victory from Daniel Pudney. Farren Wills amassed sufficient points for the bronze award with Josh Candy settling for fourth place.

It was a double celebration on the day as Pudney reached the Veteran age entry of forty but shows no sign of losing interest in the sport as apart from his election to a senior administrative role in the club his training program is firmly set
towards the 2023 World Championships later this year.
