NEWS: Smith to miss opening TLI Eurovets GP

East London stalwart and Eurovets co-promoter Kevin Smith (back right) will miss the opening round of the TLI hosted Eurovets GP series which races into action this Saturday at Horspath. The popular cockney is still hampered by ankle ligament problems and faces a hospital appointment on Monday on a different matter. Smith has decided that he`s simply not in the right frame of mind to race but hopes to appear at Coventry for round 2 on Saturday May 10th.

Meanwhile, reigning Eurovets GP Over 50s champion Paul Timms has declared himself after a month on the sidelines.

Organisers are expecting a large turn-out of vets from throughout the country for an affordable and cost effective racing experience under the TLI Cycling banner. Riders are urged to register on the TLI website for membership but all competitors are advised they can register at Horspath on the day, thanks to the accommodating and helpful TLI Cycling organisation.
