NEWS: East Park three year development plan outlined at AGM

East Park held their AGM on Thursday evening, which was supported by over 30 members at the Orange Tree, the club’s local sponsors.

Items up for discussion were the appointments of officials and the club’s Go-Ride project with British Cycling.

East Park have also now produced a development plan setting out their goals for the next three years. It must be said, Bob Prince is 99% responsible in the production of this.

The club is also in the process of getting a new racing kit using monies from the donation off the West Midlands Police Force.

The club also discussed the addition of a new container by the starting grids, subject to council approval, this would further improve their already excellent facilities.

The meeting ended at 9.30pm with a very positive conclusion.

In other news, the Wolves will start getting in some training ready for the new season on Thursday evening. Bob Prince will be running a fitness session to get everyone ready to get back on their bikes. The idea is to start with some gentle exercise, this will take place under the new flood lights on the car park drive.

Gary Draisey has been working on the East Park track over the winter break grading and packing the circuit.

2016 will also see East Park hoping to enter a veterans team.
